Independent public consultation on draft legislation

The Water Rights and Water Security Bill 2026 is now published as a searchable 71-section consultation index, covering rivers, springs, boreholes, waterfalls, dams, water supply standards and drought protection. Clause-specific recommendations may currently be sent by email; the integrated web form remains pending. Our Substantive Equality and Fair Opportunity Bill 2026 remains available as a full-text interactive reader. These are independent proposals, not enacted laws or Government Bills.

  • Describe your concern or recommendation, and where appropriate provide alternative statutory wording.
  • Decide separately whether your contribution may be published. Public display is entirely optional.
  • A moderator checks the submission before any authorised public publication.
  • Consultation summaries will explain recommendations and changes proposed to the draft.
